Sydney Bierwirth is an attorney at Brighter Day Law with over three years of litigation experience. After she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Michigan State University, Sydney moved to Bloomington, IN where she earned her Juris Doctor at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Prior to joining Brighter Day Law, Sydney worked as a Deputy District Attorney for Colorado’s 4th Judicial District. There, Sydney prosecuted and tried a broad range of criminal cases, from traffic and misdemeanor offenses to all degrees of felonies involving domestic abuse, vehicular assault, animal cruelty, drug offenses, property crimes, and violent crimes.
As a lawyer, Sydney strives to help others and give back as much as she can. She joined the team at Brighter Day Law because Brighter Day focuses on and appreciates people, valuing them as individuals. Her role at Brighter Day Law allows her to make a direct impact on her clients’ lives, making her a better attorney and a better person along the way.
Outside of the firm, Sydney enjoys spending time outdoors typically hiking, camping, snowboarding, climbing, off-roading, and more. In her childhood and into adulthood, Sydney plays ice hockey recreationally and competitively. Recently, Sydney had the opportunity to play for the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team in the 2022 Maccabi Games where they took home the silver medal.
