Legal Assistant
Location: Nashville, TN
Marsha is a dedicated legal assistant at Brighter Day Law, where she brings compassion, resilience, and a keen eye for detail to her work. Her journey into the legal field was unexpected but deeply personal, after going through a divorce, she found herself drawn to the legal profession, realizing that she could use her own experiences to help others navigate challenging situations with clarity and confidence.
Before stepping into the legal world, Marsha built a career rooted in leadership and education. She earned a full volleyball scholarship to Belmont University, where she graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Her early professional years were spent working alongside the President of a seminary and Vice President of a university, refining her organizational skills and ability to manage high-level operations.
However, her most fulfilling role came in the form of homeschooling her three children. Over the years, she embraced the responsibility of shaping their education while also teaching eighth-grade homeschoolers, further deepening her love for learning and mentorship. Her time as an educator instilled in her patience, adaptability, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively, qualities that now serve her well in the legal field.
Outside of work, she finds joy in the simple things, losing herself in a good fiction book, spending quality time with her three children, or unwinding with her two beloved dogs.
With a background that blends education, business, and law, Marsha is committed to supporting others through challenging times and she loves helping clients see brighter days ahead. Whether she’s assisting clients at Brighter Day Law, guiding a friend through a tough time, or immersing herself in a new novel, she approaches life with empathy, determination, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference.
